We are proud to run the Carter Education STEM Learning Program. This is a support system for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical learning that focuses on underfunded schools around the United States. A percentage on all purchases of Space Garden products directly fund the program. Why we have a STEM learning program

STEM learning is key to developing people that improve our society, from curing diseases to pushing the envelope of human possibility. We hope that the next generation of STEM learners can share our love for space and help the human race by exploring the cosmos.

Do we have a fair playing field for Seattle students in STEM learning?

In Seattle, no. Our current system of funding give's resources based on property taxes collected in the area. This allows certain schools to disproportionately get money while a large portion of public schools get left behind. We know there are many extremely bright students that will have a better opportunity to show there talents through our program.

How do we help?

We currently support our local schools through the purchase of basic school supplies. Taking the burden off of teachers who currently go into their own pockets to support their students. As the fund grows we hope to support public schools in our area with more substantial science equipment that will allow the students to grow interest in STEM at a younger age.
